Despite the Weather - high winds and rain, 35 riders came, out of the orginal 50 entries,and everyone seemed to have a great time. It certainly blew the cobwebs away!!
Held monthly, near Cheltenham, several endurance riders from the Cotswold Group and Heart of England have already discovered this gem of a ride and use it regularly for training.
Once again Cotswold Group held its’ training day at the home of Carolyn and Hugh Baxter, with Carolyns’ sister helping out, which was much appreciated. The weather held up for us with no rain and not too cold.
This new Cotswold Group organised ride at Didmarton, near Badminton by Jane Holdsworth was full soon after the opening date, and despite dreadful weather the night before was a great success.
Joint Mid-South and Cotswold Group organised ride. This ride hosted the Southern Inter-regional championships again this year - Cotswold Group were 3rd -report from Chris Wensley - thanks and congratulations to all Cotswold members who took part.
The Cleeve Hill Training Ride is a delightful ride over Cleeve Common near Cheltenham, with minimal roadwork and excellent going.
A Beautiful warm day ensured a good turn out with over 36 riders taking part.
organised by Offa's Dyke Group - starting from Ludlow Racecourse Shropshire. This ride will host the National Inter-regional championships again this year - so Cotswold Group will be looking for team members.
